Sustainable Tourism Workshop

What is sustainable tourism and where do I start?

There are so many differing terms being used in the industry including sustainable tourism, ecotourism and regenerative tourism.

During this GMIST workshop, the meaning and implications of sustainable tourism will be explored. The workshop will also present a number of examples of destinations that have adopted or are moving toward sustainable tourism.

Most importantly, practical examples of what you, as an operator or organization, can do in terms of sustainability and how you can get started will be presented and discussed.

Presented by Dr. Rachel Dodds.
